Yunomi


Today I made some tight yunomi for the tight folks, and some loose yunomi for the loose folks. The weather here has started to calm down a bit. Those poor buggers in the Dakotas are feeling the wrath of Mother Nature. A flood and a blizzard at the same time, hopefully the levee will hold.

Yeah, loose for me, too. But I can see those other ones looking lovely in temmoku or shino.

Thanks for the words. Loose seems to be what my kiln likes to eat... so I've been feeding it that more and more, maybe a little shino sauce on the side. What else would you expect from a dodgy old geezer!!
Keep makin those good pots!!!

Jim: I know what you mean, but after awhile it was just a direction that I had to go. It does pose a lot of questions that you have to answer.. like "who the hell are you" :O)

Thanks Amy... It is easy to woodfire pots... just put them in a wood fired kiln. Somehow there might be a little more to it than that. You are in a great location to realize your dreams. Enjoyed looking at your blog!!
