The morning walk is now the morning ski. The walking shoes are put away and the ski boots are by the door. When you just see the snow it's white. When you look at the snow it changes color during the day, from blues to oranges and yes, sometimes it is actually white! Skiing around here can sometimes last into April. Very good exercise for the body and soul.

Lovely images, Craig. Though we are hoping that the snow on Cape Cod holds off until after the selling season ...
Hollis for your sake I hope they do also! In this neck of the woods that is never the case... we've had a blizzard on Halloween, how scary is that...have a great season.
I love the quietness and beauty of the snow, but am glad I don't live in snow country any longer, couldn't handle the shoveling and the cold nowadays, your beautiful photos bring back fond memories though.
Wow I just looked at the Asian blog on your side bar, what beautiful work there. I'll have to translate to read the written word so I can make a comment.
Linda: Just got back from a good ski. We have some of the best cross-x skiing ever, prefect conditions!! I hear you about the shoveling and cold. I guess it all balances out! Sometimes a palm tree sounds like a good way to go.
I use google chrome as a browser and it translates. There are some really nice pottery sites from the orient.. go figure.
Cheers
