I have a question for you.
What cone did you fire these snow pots at, and what clay were they made from?
I'm interested in firing some bird baths that will handle freezing tempatres.
Thanks.

Hello John: They are wood fired to cone 10-12. The clay is Continental Clay Co. Fireclay Stoneware Clay body. It is vitreous at cone 10.
This is a fantastic photo!!!! snow and ash on a beautiful form.
