These plates have a shino glaze that has finger swipes as a decoration. The shino got completely covered with flyash, acept where I had a bowl resting on shells stacked on top of it.

You knew just where to place those shells on the square plates, right? They look really good.
What a wonderful plate! So lively.
And the colors. What a good play of the fire around the shells!
The second one seems more interesting with a bit longer slip swipe. Could make a nice set eh.
